Rich Bubak is driving the #20 Victoria for owner Jim Thorne for the 2010 season. It's a Wilson Chasis with engine built by Weseman Engineering.
Rich has been racing for 30 years and is currently the most winning driver in the CARC with approximately 100 feature wins. In 1979 Rich was a rookie with the CARC. In 1985 Rich won the Sportsman division championship at Colorado National Speedway. In 1987 Rich was a rookie in the Sprint Car World of Outlaws Series and finished 11th in point standings and a 2-time winner of the Colorado Challenge Cup. Some of his favorite racing memories include racing late models in Australia in 1991, watching his daughter, Jaime win her first CARC Main Event win in 2009 and winning an "E" Main Event at the 1994 Knoxville Nationals.
His least favorite memory was not winning a Main Event win in 2009. Rich was the 2001 and 2008 CARC Champion. Rich plans on running a limited schedule this year to keep Jaime in the running. Jake Bubak is his crew chief. Rich is married to Lori and lives in Arvada with his daughter Jaime (18) and son Jake (15). He owns and operates Sid's Auto Service in Golden.
