Jaime Bubak, 17 years old, daughter of two-time CARC Champion Rich Bubak, was the CARC Rookie of the Year in 2008. Jaime drives the Rich Bubak-owned #12 1931 Ford 5 window coupe on an original Malloy frame. Jaime started racing quarter midgets in 2004. In 2007 Jaime won the light 160 quarter midget championship. Jaime's biggest racing influence is her father Rich and says that she would not be where she is today without her father. Her favorite racing memory was beating her Dad to win her first CARC Main Event. Worst memory? Destroying the car the next race after winning the Main Event. This is Jaime's third year with the CARC, and she would like to dedicate this season to her grandfathers, Sid and Elmer, who both recently passed away. Her crew consists of Jake Bubak (crew chief), Wayne Mooney, Bob Barr and Tyler Trengrove. Her sponsors are AAI Speed Equipment, Denver West Towing, Gold Label Door, Mac-Vik Plumbing and Heating, Eric Smith Chiropractic, Fee Racing Engines and Sid's Auto Service. Jaime will be studying Nursing at Regis this fall.
