Drew Utecht of Brighton is the 2007 CARC and CNS Rookie of the Year as well as runner-up in the CARC season-long points battle.

Drew married his wife Anna in 2006. They have 2 children Layton & Taylor

After an eye-opening adventure as a Pro Truck owner, Drew began his CARC career as a crew member for father-in-law Greg McLaughlin #57. When Theron Bredeson bought the #57, Drew came on board as crew chief. He drove his FIRST race on 2 Sept 2006, 1 day after his wedding. Ironically, his season ended 1 race later in a main event crash with Greg McLaughlin. Drew won his first race (a B-Main) on his 1st wedding anniversary.

 Driving a 1931 Ford Victoria owned by Glenda/Theron Bredeson of Arvada, Drew also earned a 2007 Perfect Attendance award from the CARC. The car is sponsored by Rod Guilford Race Engines and supports WarmHearts-WarmBabies, a charitable organization helping needy/premature babies. The #07 began life as the Frank Denning #90 Cavalier in 1985.
