Chad Guilford is starting his third season with the CARC mod coupes in 2010. He is entering the season with an injured left leg, but once he gets on the track, that shouldn't slow him down. The car is a 1932 Ford coupe body atop a Wilson Chassis Works chassis. The engine was build by Rod Guilford, who Chad lists as his greatest influence.

Chad has also raced in drag racing, as his greatest accomplishment so far is his 1992 Division 5 and World Championships. His car is co-owned by Chad and Jason Bunt, who doubles as crew chief. Zach Murdoch is also on the crew. Chad lives in Highlands Ranch with his wife, Renee, and owns Guilford Lawn Service.
