Frank Denning III (3D) enters his fifth year of racing with the CARC in 2010. The '32 Ford 5-window, Wilson-chassis, 348 cubic inch Chevrolet V-8 is still his weapon of choice! His car was sold in the offseason to Rene Waltmeyer, who chose to re-number it 09. Look for the familiar purple coupe with Donald Duck on the side with the new number. Don't worry; it's still FAST! 3D has been racing since 2003 and shows the NHRA Quaker State ET series on his resume along with his CARC experience. He can proudly point to three consecutive Colorado National Speedway Mod Coupe championships to go with his 2007 CARC Championship. A very consistent and quick driver!

   Frank's favorite memories include helping his Dad (Frank II) hang late model bodies, and his father is listed as his greatest racing influence. His worst racing memory came from last year, when he entered a heat race leading in points, crashed and fell to 8th place in points! He is dedicating the 2010 season to Rene and Adam Waltmeyer for the opportunity to race their car. Crew members include Adam, Tony Umberger, Ronnie Hastings, and Jason Castor. His sponsors include Snap-On Tools, Academy Mortgage, Goodings Performance and F&M Performance and Machine.

   Frank is the proud father of his #1 fan, Fenix, who is 2 going on 3 this year. As a profession, he is a firefighter for Lockheed Martin. We look for the purple car to be running up front again this year! Good luck, 3D!
